Music event

The amps are buzzing, the drums are set, and the stage is ready for the loudest showdown of the season. Battle of the Bands is back - and it’s bigger and bolder this year! This is your moment to plug in and show us what you’ve got. So, grab your gear, take a deep breath and make the stage YOURS.

Rules and regulations:

• This is a team event (5-7 members per group)
• The event is open to students from grades 8 to 1st year degree.
• All bands are required to have at least one vocalist.
• No backing tracks will be allowed.
• Use of pre-recorded material is prohibited.
• Misuse of any equipment including microphones, wires and drums will lead to immediate disqualification.
• Team members may be drawn from different schools and colleges.
• If all the team members are from the same school or college, then only one team will be permitted.
• Instruments will not be provided except for a standard drum kit.
• Timing: 5+3 minutes
