The Western Dance Solo invites performers to bring their unique style, technique and emotion to life, whichever style of dance it may be. It’s about confidence, rhythm and the art of movement - it speaks for itself. May the best dancer win!

Rules and regulations:

• This is a solo event.
• This event is open to students from grades 8 to 1st Year Degree.
• Participants will have 2+1 minutes to perform their prepared dance routine using their chosen song.
• Any vulgar choreography or inappropriate music will result in disqualification.
• Participants will be allowed to use props brought by them.
• All choreography must be original.
• Plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
• All music and media required for the event must be submitted at the console 45 minutes before the commencement of the event. The music in .mp3 format and the media in recognized formats, must be submitted in labelled pen drives.
• There will be multiple rounds to test the creativity and originality of the participants.
