Looking Forward to ISC Programme

The Orientation programme for Std 11 parents and students was held on 6 June 2025, at 8:30 a.m. and lasted for about an hour. A large number of curious parents accompanied their excited children to the event.

During the programme, Vice Principal Mr Brian McKertish addressed the audience, highlighting the legacy of St Joseph's Boys' High School.

Ms Odella Maria John spoke on the topic: 'Embrace Empathy to Strengthen Relationships'. She encouraged parents and students to express gratitude to each other and make their homes places where every blessing can abound. Thus, providing their children with conducive environments to achieve excellence and reach their full potential.

Ms Rita Singh emphasized the importance of discipline, punctuality, and involvement in extracurricular activities, providing valuable insights for both parents and students.

Mr Robin Colaco took the students through the school's council website, showcasing the numerous achievements of St Joseph's Boys' High School students.

Sports Secretary Dr. Santhose Adam stressed the significance of balancing sports and academics, encouraging students to strive for excellence in both areas.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, followed by the State and National Anthems, marking a fitting end to a productive and informative session.

The students and parents of the new batch went around the campus, happy in the knowledge that the school was a safe haven for them and they would be well taken care of for the next two years at SJBHS.
