Pomp and Splendour
The Annual Day celebration on 23rd January 2026, at St Joseph’s Boys’ High School was a splendid occasion, graced by the Chief Guest Dr Anand Vinekar, an old boy of batch 1991.
Diversity was showcased, values found expression, and young minds gave an outstanding performance. The voices of students of Classes 5 and 6 rang out, and the little Josephites displayed their talent by enacting the characters in the kingdom of Vijayanagara with King Krishnadevaraya and the famous Tenali Rama taking centrestage.
The mesmerizing dance performances coupled by a dazzling array of lights and sound filled the evening with sheer joy and amazement. It was indeed a gala event celebrating art in its various form, exhibiting our diverse culture in the midst of time travel. Through the vision of little ones running the Vijayanagara kingdom while exploring their whimsical ideas and attempting to fulfil the wishes of King Krishnadevaraya, students from Grade 1 to 4 presented their best versions through their vibrant and impressive masquerade.
All in all it added up to a wonderful annual day of SJBHS.
