Outreach for Common Good

A number of units come under the umbrella of Campus Ministry. From AICUF and Outreach Programmes to Twinning, Personality Development and Retreats; Campus Ministry promotes character formation, academic excellence and social concerns – the three Principles of Jesuit education.

Christian Life Community enables students to form a like-minded community at SJBHS, which is part of an International Association of Lay Christians who have adopted an Ignatian model of spiritual life.

The inauguration ceremony of CLC, held on 27th June 2025, commenced with a common prayer which set the atmosphere of serenity in the auditorium. The Principal, Fr Norwin Pereira SJ, encouraged the students to grow in faith.

Fr Shantharaj SJ, the guest speaker, in his address stressed on the importance of altar servers by saying that at the altar- it was God, the celebrant and altar servers. Father briefed the gathering on the history, the role and the functioning of CLC at school.
