JUNIOR AND SENIOR SCHOOL ANNUAL PRIZE DAY

Encouraged, motivated and lauded, SJBHS's Prize winners for the academic year 2024-25 were a pleased lot on July 5, 2025 when their hard work bore rich dividends. The academic achievers from Class 1-9 and 11 were delighted while the students of the recently graduated batch of Class 10 and 12 were thrilled beyond measure. Their excellence in the Board exams would take them far.

The Junior School Prize Day was held in the morning. The Chief Guest was Mr George Ollapally (Old Boy from the Batch of 1968) currently Director of Timken India Limited. The Primary School Administrator, Fr Paul Anand SJ, welcomed the gathering and encouraged the Prize winners to dare to dream and work hard to achieve those dreams. The Chief Guest urged the academic achievers to have trust and confidence in their abilities, while pursuing excellence.

The Senior School Prize Day was held in the afternoon. The Chief Guest was Mr Shravan Gupta (Old Boy from the Batch of 1991) currently Chairman of Kriya Ventures. Our Principal, Fr Norwin Pereira SJ, welcomed the gathering, congratulated the students on their academic prowess, and advised them to always seek greater heights of glory The Chief Guest underlined the importance of practicing regularly, even when it feels difficult, boring and goes unnoticed. His advice to the students was to follow their curiosity, learn from mistakes and stay persistent in their goals.

The programme that integrated songs, dances and the school Annual Report just went on to highlight the main event which was the Prize Distribution. Medals and certificates were handed out, the meritorious students were felicitated with cash rewards while the applause, that echoed in the auditorium, was heartfelt. The beautifully decorated auditorium will be forever in the minds of the academic achievers as their moment of glory on stage was captured for posterity.
