Little Josephites Move On
SJBHS celebrated its Kindergarten Graduation Day on February 7, 2026, marking the
transition of the youngest Josephites from Pre- primary to Primary school.
The little Josephites were seen walking proudly and confidently as they embarked on their
next stage of education that is from Pre- primary to Primary school. The event began with
invoking God’s blessings by lighting the auspicious lamp followed by a beautiful prayer led
by the UKG boys. The audience was welcomed by our Primary School Administrator, Rev Fr
Paul Anand SJ.
Our Principal, Rev Fr Norwin Pereira too welcomed the gathering whole heartedly. He
appreciated the parents, grandparents and teachers for whatever they do for these little ones.
He also expressed his heartfelt thanks to the teachers and to the Pre-Primary Coordinator, Ms
Sindhu Peter for their hard work and dedication. Fr Anand also heartily welcomed the chief
guest Mr Darius Sunawala, old boy of 1995, Program Director for Radio Station 104FM and
an extremely popular improviser. Mr Darius shared his joy of coming back to his school with
the audience. He advised the audience to celebrate every win, every failure, every moment in
life. He also appreciated the teachers for building such a strong foundation for the little
Josephites.
The ceremony began with the Solemn Walk, where each section along with their respective
teachers walked to the stage and sang a beautiful rendition. The whole auditorium resonated
with their voices as the melodious chorus filled every corner of the space. The efforts put in
by the teachers for training the little graduates so well and the cooperation shown by the little
Josephites were highly commendable.
One student representative from each class then came forward to receive the certificates on
behalf of his fellow students – a moment of great pride for the little ones. Our Principal, Vice
Principal, Primary School Administrator and the chief guest took great pleasure and joy in
handing over the certificates to the proud Josephites.
A beautiful and heart touching compilation of all that happens in Kindergarten Unit was
shown to the audience thereby giving the parents the assurance that their child is in the best
hands. A proud parent at SJBHS, Dr Anup Krishnamurthy then spoke to the audience about
his experience at school. He shared how far his child has come and appreciated the
management for taking care of the child’s all-round development.
The event concluded with the UKG boys expressing their gratitude to the Management, the
teachers, the admin staff and the support staff for their assisstance at all times.
Thus, it was a day of great joy not only for the little Graduates and their parents but also for
each and every member of the Josephite family.
