Our Youngest Shining Stars
The Pre-KG and LKG Annual Day was celebrated on 6th December 2025. Mr. Mark Lushington, an alumnus of the 1968 batch, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He pursued higher studies in Criminology and Forensic Science and later served with the Royal Oman Police in the Sultanate of Oman for nine years.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp, a prayer, and a solemn invocation dance that set a serene and devotional tone. Fr. Paul Anand SJ, the Primary Administrator, welcomed the gathering with inspiring words, emphasizing the importance of connecting the cherished past with the future we envision. He also highlighted the school’s motto, “Faith and Toil”- Faith in God guiding each child’s unique journey, and Toil shaping their character and success.
The Chief Guest, quoting Maria Montessori, remarked, “Early childhood education is the key to the betterment of society.” Mr. Mark appreciated the dedication of teachers and parents, calling them the “sculptors of young minds.” He encouraged everyone to keep smiling and reminded them that every small effort makes a significant impact.
Fr. Norwin Pereira SJ, the Principal, expressed his gratitude to the Pre-Primary teachers for their hard work in preparing the students for the day’s wonderful performances.
A short video of the School Annual Report 2024-2025 was presented, showcasing key highlights of the previous academic year.
The students then took the stage class by class, presenting vibrant dances on the theme “Retro to Metro,” each performance reflecting its own unique charm.
The programme concluded with the State Anthem followed by the National Anthem.
